Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tsellr platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Tsellr ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent activity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service's security
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

3. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all business data you create, upload, or store through the Service, including invoices, customer records, inventory data, and financial reports. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, sync, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

4. Plans & Payments

Tsellr offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Details of features and limits for each plan are available on our pricing page. For paid plans:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payments are processed through our supported payment providers (Mobile Money and card)
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us within 7 days of payment

5. Offline Functionality

The Service is designed to work offline. Data created while offline is stored locally on your device and syncs to our servers when a connection is available. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, theft, or damage while data remains unsynced.

6. Tax Compliance

Tsellr provides tools to help you calculate Ghana taxes (VAT, NHIL, GETFund) and generate summaries for GRA filing. However, we are not a tax advisor. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We recommend consulting a qualified accountant for tax advice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. The offline functionality of the Service ensures you can continue working during any downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tsellr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay for a paid plan.

Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After that period, we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
